Registration for the 2012 Tongue Twister Exchange is under way. If you participated in the 2011 exchange, you may log in and enter your new information on the 2012 page. New participants need to be approved by Kimberly at: .

This exchange is intended for 26 elementary classrooms. Each classroom will choose one alphabet letter to create a tongue twister for. The tongue twister will be illustrated and shared with the other classrooms in the group.

After joining this WIKI you need to wait for approval before you can post. (An e-mail is automatically sent to the moderator, Kimberly). After you've been approved please go to the Participating Classrooms 2011 page, choose an available letter and fill in your name and information. The participating classrooms page will serve as our mailing list. (If you don't want to join the WIKI but still want to participate, e-mail your information to

After all letters have been filled a template for printing address labels will be created and shared by Kimberly (St. Thomas School).

All participating classrooms are expected to mail tongue twisters to each of the other classes before November 1, 2012. Tongue twisters should be on letter-sized paper so that they can easily be placed in a binder or folder. The inclusion of a note or letter giving information about your classroom, school, city, state or country is encouraged but not required.

All participants are encouraged to edit this WIKI and upload an image of your tongue twister. You are also welcome to create a page to showcase the work completed during this project. If you do not wish to create your own page, jpg or gif images of completed tongue twisters pages may be e-mailed to Miss Miller's class and she will include them for you. I know that everyone didn't do this in 2011, but let's really try this year!!

It's been suggested that we add a Voice Thread to this project. This can be decided in the future. A teacher would need to volunteer to organize.**
